New York City Jewelry Connection (NYCJC)

is dedicated to commemorating Black History and monumental events uplifting the black community through uniquely designed customized jewelry. NYCJC jewelry pieces are symbolic representations of the black community on one accord joined together mindfully and proudly in their own right. Also, our company is going to increase the HBCU Endowment by giving back 10% of the company’s net proceeds. NYCJ Connection is concerned about the level of HBCU Endowment. Any HBCU collaboration, we’re donating a certain percentage of the revenue back to HBCU for scholarships. Our commitment is strong. We feel it’s everyone’s responsibility to give back, know Your Power HBCU.

KNOW YOUR POWER
New York City Jewelry Connection is currently developing a campaign Know Your Power to address the gap by creating jewelry designs that symbolize empowerment and galvanize a consciousness of the black community to build a foundation of knowledge as the cornerstone of reputation and influence, and therefore power where all achievements emanate from this.

TARGET MARKET
New York City Jewelry Connection is seeking to establish partnerships with the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to deploy the efforts of the Know Your Power campaign.

HBCUs are the cornerstone of the mission of this campaign by providing higher education to the African American student bodies since the Civil Rights Acts in 1964 equipping the African American student with knowledge that empowers them to achieve and contribute to the successes of society. With the NYCJC partnership, the jewelry is a memoire of their higher education experience coupled with a reminder of their knowledge is now their power for a lifetime.

Collaborative efforts considerations:

– Homecoming
– Presence in school bookstore
-Graduation vendor

NYCJC PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT

– Fundraising events
– HBCU student design competition
-Student scholarships
– Student Recognition awards
